Victor De La Luz has been running cellars and making wine for well over 10 years and continues to compliment his experience with continuing education, whether through classes at WWCC Enology & Viticulture program or scientific research and analysis, he is always learning new ways to improve his craft. More important than that experience and education though, is his incredible spirit, passion and intuition for making wine. He knows great wine can have life from a ‘less-than-great’ harvest, simply by knowing how to best highlight what mother nature has provided for that vintage. Victor experiments with new, neutral, French and American Oak, to best balance and accentuate the unique soil that Washington has to offer.
Fun Fact:
When Victor is not working in the vineyards or in the winery, you can find him at your local karaoke bar… that sometimes leads to his house, he lives by his motto “Mi casa es su casa.”
