Many of the wines that Victor has crafted over the years are wines that are cellar favorites and ones that regularly score in the 90 pt + range from a number of critics. Prior to becoming a winemaker in Washington, Victor was a professional cultural dancer with a select dance company chosen to represent the country of Mexico. Victor and his dance company traveled the world – Italy, Korea, Russia, and many other places showcasing Mexican Heritage and flare for life. It was during these travels that Victor discovered his love for wine. Victor’s style of winemaking echoes many of the same philosophies he applied in dance – tradition, precision, and boldness.
